    Magnetk

Blogger, Documenation Writer (2008 - present)
Writing blog posts about "whatever I want" so long as they are "awesome" for a small, independent software company; creating documentation for that company's ExpanDrive and SFTPDrive software.

    Matter Network

Energy and Environment Blogger (2008 - present)
Producing three articles (~1000 words) every weekday for a sustainability and green lifestyle news aggregator. I also find and edit photos, and do the occasional bit of contacting sources and conducting interviews.

    Redfin.com

Real Estate Blogger (August 2007-October 2008)
Posting daily on Boston real estate for online realty firm Redfin. My knowledge of local history, obsession with urban renewal and decay, and wry sense of humor made me ideal for their Sweet Digs local property blog. Sadly, economic conditions in late 2008 forced Redfin to cut 20% of its workforce, including the entire Sweet Digs team.

    Cyclocosm.com

    Founder, Designer, Editor (since 2005)
One of the world's premier cycling blogs, Cyclocosm offers sharp, incisive, and downright funny commentary on the world of professional cycling. Recognized by a number of nationally distributed publications for its quality, the site continued to increase in popularity, until workload forced me to cut back on content in early 2008.

    The Hanover Collaboration

    Contributor (since 2004)
Initially the token humanities student in this Dartmouth alum bouillabaisse, I've posted short fictional works, as well essays on language, politics, law and technology, recently scoring a referral from renowned Manhattanite gossip site Gawker.

    NYVelocity.com

    Contributor (2006)
After reading Cyclocosm, this exuberant catalogue of the New York City bike racing scene asked me to contribute a column. It was fun while it lasted, but the compensation wasn't there, and my workload from other sources was simply too high.

    Stellar Magazine

    Blogger (2005)
During the spring of 2005, I was hired to blog on road cycling for Stellar, an adventure lifestyle magazine. I was promised a portion of the advertizing revenue. By late September, I still hadn't been paid, and by that point, I'd shifted my focus to Cyclocosm.

    Dartmouth Cycling

    Designer, Webmaster (2003-2005)
In 2003, I took it upon myself to rebuild the Dartmouth Cycling Team's webpage from scratch. The end product brought in over $10,000 of new sponsor support, drawing praise from teammates and competitors alike. The site has since been redesigned.
